XFX’s RX 480 GPU has revealed by quasarzone, showcasing a custom PCB and power design, and a beefy aftermarket cooler with XFX replaceable fans. The card also features a full cover backplate.
This XFX card comes with a factory overclock of over 1328MHz on the GPU boost clock, offering much higher performance than AMD’s reference RX 480. The card is power by an 8-pin PCIe power connection, allowing this GPU to draw the enough power from your power supply and not your motherboard, preventing any potential power issues, especially when combined with AMD’s recent driver fixes.
The cooler has four head pipe and a large copper base plate for maximum cooling. The 90mm fans are XFX’s replaceable design, allowing to be easily repaired and cleaned by the user.
XFX didn’t announce any pricing or the release timeframe of this GPU, but we expect to release soon.
