The Sapphire’s Rx 480 Nitro have been spotted, showing brand new dual fan cooler design with a silver shroud with RGB illuminated Sapphire logo on the side. The sapphire logos color will change depending on the GPUs temperature but can be changed via software.
AMD’s RX 480 will be available from June 29th, which means we may see more custom RX 480 GPU designs over the next few weeks. AMD design the GPU to offer 5.5 TFLOPS of VR ready performance at the ultra-low $199 price-point, making VR gamers great value for money as well as offering great power efficiency.
RX 480 will come with a minimum of 4GB of VRAM, with 8GB in the high end, which enough memory for next few years, also offering FreeSync and full DisplayPort 1.3/1.4 supports. With new 14nm processing node, Polaris Architecture has 2.8x more efficient than previous generation AMD hardware.
