Samsung Galaxy S7 is done well with improve the design and build quality, but the next-gen Galaxy S8 may break traditional Galaxy specifications. The South Korean electronics giant is reportedly shifting itself to RGB displays, moving away from their traditional AMOLED technology they’re known for.
Still the new Galaxy S8 should rock a 2560×1440 resolution display, just like the current Galaxy S7. The new handset may use a current 14nm chip like the Galaxy S7, but Samsung might shift to 10nm chip for more performance. But the biggest question is the RGB display is better than AMOLED? We have to wait and see. One thing the RGB display may provide more battery life and similar colors like AMOLED display.
