NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1080Ti may launch at PAX East

After disappointing everyone by not announcing the GTX 1080Ti at CES. NVIDIA has chosen PAX East, which begins on March 10th, as the place to launch their new flagship gaming card.

We think NVIDIA was going to unveil the GTX 1080Ti at CES – but they had to change the decision last moment when AMD failed to make any relevant VEGA announcement. This might be just a business move, as currently the GTX 1080 is unchallenged and launching new GTX 1080Ti will affect the pricing and sales of current GTX 1080. NVIDIA wanted to wait for AMD Vega to come before they bring their own flagship.
