This year GPU launch is very important for NVIDIA as its their first time with HBM memory. Now rumour suggest that new Pascal Titan-sequel GPU maybe coming to market as early as April.
This new card expected to using the GP100 GPU core, with TSMC 16nm process and use HBM memory. The new card may have called Titan X2, but its just a rumour it may be change, and around June Nvidia are rumoured to be launching their GP104 core GPUs, which are rumoured by Techfrag to be using GDDR5X memory and not HBM and make up the GTX 1080 and GTX 1070, if Nvidia continue to use their current naming scheme. Then we have the GeForce GTX 980 Ti successor, which will also be powered by HBM2.
The GTX 1080 is expected to have performance that is similar to the GTX 980Ti or Titan X, but come in with a lower TDP and thermals, though right now this is merely guesswork.
