We all seen NVIDIA’s demonstration of the GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition card which is priced $699 and overclocked to 2.1GHz on the vapor chamber-cooled video card. We all know that AIB partners would have some overbuild models which can do more.
There will reportedly be four versions of the GeForce GTX 1080; the first is Founder’s Edition with the reference cooler, then standard reference PCB with AIB air cooler, also custom AIB card with an air cooler and then the AIB custom cards with AIO water cooled cards. Already ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE, ZOTAC, Colorful and many others will have some full custom GTX 1080 video cards, with the rumor that GIGABYTE’s upcoming Xtreme Gaming GTX 1080 would have 2.4GHz on the GPU on an air cooler.
So tease of a liquid cooled GeForce GTX 1080 with a clock speed of 2.5GHz should be fascinating. We wish to see some AIB partners to have something to shown off at Computex 2016.
