NVIDIA is all set to launch a new mid-range mobile graphics offering, the GTX 1050M at CES 2017 in Las Vegas. Already NVIDIA has released mobile variants of the GTX 1080, GTX 1070 and GTX 1060, but they are coming in higher products, so most people still limited to “Maxwell” based GTX 960M or GTX 950M offerings. Reports also indicate there has been somewhat of a surge in demand for GTX 1060M equipped laptops, where the new GTX 1050M could be nicely positioned to market.
The “Pascal” based mobile GTX 1050M to offer core configuration as its desktop version, but with significantly higher clock speeds. This should make the GTX 1050M a great option for gamers, and we should see gaming laptops with new Intel “Kaby Lake” processors and GTX 1050M at CES 2017.
