Night Dive Studios has announced System Shock remaster system requirements

Night Dive Studios has announced the PC system requirements for their new System Shock remake, requiring minimum CPU is Intel Core i5 or AMD 8 core FX-8320, indicating the game is CPU intensive with 8GB RAM. The GPU requirement minimum HD 7870 or Nvidia GTX 670 GPU. The game only supports DirectX 11.

After 20 years, we are remastering and re-imagining the original System Shock. We will keep the new game true to the classic experience, keeping all the things you loved, while updating the user interface and graphics to use a modern day engine (Unity).

MINIMUM:

  • OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 670 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or better
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 2 GB available space

  • OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions)
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-3770/AMD FX-8350 or better
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 970 4GB/AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB or better
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 2 GB available space

System Shock’s remaster is expected to release in late 2016.
