New benchmarks of NVIDIA’s GTX 1050 Ti have been leaked, revealing performance that is similar to a GTX 960. So far we know that GTX 1050Ti will be based on NVIDIA’s GP107 GPU core, which is expected to base on Samsung’s 14nm manufacturing process. In the screenshot of GPU-Z, we can see Chiphell was tested an aftermarket/overclocked version. The card has a 6-pin PCIe power connection fo additional power. The reference GTX 1050 Ti is thought to have a TDP of only 75W, which means that a dedicated 6-pin power connection is necessary for reference models.
In the 3DMARK Firestrike Ultra and Time Spy results, we can see that the performance of the GTX 1050Ti is similar to NVIDIA’s GTX 960 GPU, which is now the minimum GPU required for the Oculus Rift VR headset. That means the GTX 1050Ti should be VR ready.
As of now NVIDIA has not officially announced the GTX 1050 Ti, though it is expected to launch later this month.
