MSI is the first one to unveil a professional mobile workstation powered by NVIDIA’s new Quadro M5500. The new WT72 packs the Quadro M5500 with 8GB of GDDR5, as well as Intel’s new sixth-generation Core processors (with both Core and Xeon CPUs) and 64GB of DDR4 RAM. Other features include audiophile-grade Dynaudio speakers with Nahimic Audio Enhancer, True Color Technology screens with Adobe RGB certification for wide viewing angles and the most accurate visuals. The connectivity wise, WT72 has Thunderbolt 3 as well as USB 3.1.
MSI’s new WT72 is Autodesk VRED certified and is compatible with both the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. The MSI WT72 is starting at $5499 with the Core i7-6700Q, and up to $6899 with the Xeon E3-1505M v3 processor and 64GB of ECC DDR4-2133 RAM.
