Google Chrome on Android adds Data Saver mode to save data up to 70%

Google adds Data Saver mode for mobile users, which help you save on data usage when using Chrome to browse on your Android devices. According to Google, Chrome’s Data Saver mode has been updated to now save up to 70 percent by blocking most images. Once the page is load you can choose to lode any particular image or all images. This feature is quite handy if you’re running a slow connection or just want to save on data.

As of now the update is only available in India and Indonesia, but more countries will get it in the coming months.
