Gigabyte R9 Fury With A Custom PCB and WindForce 3X Cooler

The R9 Fury is the most affordable of the three Fiji-based cards. The R9 Fury features 8.9 billion transistors, 3,584 shaders and 224 texture units, which is slightly fewer shader cores and texture units than both the R9 Fury X and R9 Nano, but advantage of R9 Fury is, board partners are allowed to customize the air-cooler and PCB.

So Gigabyte mad their own custom R9 Fury, with a custom PCB and WindForce 3X cooler, Gigabyte even adds a single DVI port which not available in reference model. The PCB of Gigabyte R9 Fury is longer than reference shot PCB and two 8pin power connector. The model number of the card is GV-R9FURYWF3OC-4GD, but I am not sure 10MHz higher than 1,000 MHz reference we can called an OC card. Gigabyte has bundled OC Guru II software, so customers can do their overclocking.
