Gigabyte announces their GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming Water cooled

Gigabyte announced their GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming Water cooled GPU, which has an AIO cooler, customizable RGB lighting, and Xtreme VR-Link support.

The GPU directly cooled by an AIO water cooling unit that is similar to AMD’s R9 Fury X, there for no fan requires no the GPU shroud to cool it. Because for its lower GPU temp and 12+2 phase VRM comprising GIGABYTE’s Ultra Durable class components, offer a significant factory overclock. Offering base and boost clock speeds of 1759MHz and 1898MHz in the GPUs gaming mode, though you can get higher clock speeds of a 1759MHz base and 1936MHz boost when used with Gigabyte’s OC Guru II software.

Also, GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming Water Cooled come with Gigabyte’s Xtreme Care 4-year warranty, though users will need to register their product in order to take advantage of this warranty.

Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming cards also come with two HDMI connections on the inner back side, which will allow users to link up to two HDMI headers to the front of your case using Gigabyte’s VR-Link 5.25″ drive bay adapter. But if the front two HDMI ports in use that it will disable two of the DisplayPort connections at the rear of the GPU. On the back IO comprised of three DisplayPort 1.3/1.4 ports, one HDMI 2.0b, and one DVI port.

Gigabyte didn’t announce any pricing, but it will be more expensive than Gigabyte’s GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming.
