Cherry announces MX Silent switches

Cherry announces MX Silent switches with patented noise reduction. The new switches will debut in Corsair’s new Strafe and Strafe RGB keyboards, Cherry claiming to reduce noise up to 75% by an integrated 2-component tappet.

The new  key MX Silent will provide a quieter experience with include RGB 16.7 million color support and utilization of Gold-Crossprint technology for longer lifespan over 50 million keystrokes.

At first there will be two different MX Silent keys, one is MX Red’s silent version and the other in MX Black silent version. The New MX Silent switches will be public debut at Gamescom 2015 in the Corsair booth.
