ASUS announced the GTX 1080 Turbo graphics card (TURBO-GTX1080-8G), this card will position below its ROG GTX 1080 STRIX and priced closer to $599 baseline set by NVIDIA. Just like the Founders Edition card, the GTX 1080 Turbo features a blower style cooler mad out of plastic and pushes hot air out of the case.
The GTX 1080 Turbo comes with same reference board clock 1607 MHz with 1733 MHz Boost, 10 GHz GDDR5X memory; and a single 8-pin PCIe power connector. The “ASUS” logo on the side of the card feature RGB LED illumination. Asus also integrate one 4-pin PWM case fan header which sync with the GPU temperatures and control the case fan to give more air flow as the GPU needed. (the GTX 1080 STRIX features two such headers). The IO comprised two DisplayPort 1.4 and two HDMI 2.0b ports and one DVI-D port.
